Nigel Graham, Clugston's Fleet Manager attended this superb event at the fabulous Grosvenor Hotel in Park Lane London, for Motor Transport's Awards 2024.
Also in the photo, to Nigel's left is an old friend of Clugston, Craig Stainforth who used to work out of our Driffield operation.
For the past 38 years, the Motor Transport Awards has been the benchmark for excellence among UK road transport fleet operators, vehicle manufacturers and innovators.
Last year was another tough period for the road freight transport industry, with low growth in the economy, high interest rates and continuing price inflation.
Customers still demand the highest service levels at the lowest rates and only the most efficient can turn a profit.
But the UK Transport and Logistics industry is always up for a challenge and the Motor Transport Awards are all about recognising the achievements of the people and operators who continued to deliver the goods in 2023.
