Some interesting points were made by the panellists
The discussion spanned the main areas of challenges facing our industry today, and also the challenges across our sector when trying to go the collaboration route:
Operating Costs
Commercial sensitivity/Transfer of data
Trust and Relationships
Navigating complex export/import capabilities
It was agreed that while competition drives innovation, collaboration might just be the key to long-term sustainability and in some instances survival
The panel discussed the cyclical nature of the industry concerning this topic, and in summary it was felt that the time was now right for more collaboration.
