CFM Complete Vivergofuel's TAR Shutdown Works

Vivergofuel’s January TAR shutdown takes 10 months of planning throughout the year.

Its aim is to carry out hundreds of maintenance and repair tasks over the course of the month which will result in the plant and production machinery running smoothly throughout the remainder of the year.

Over the last 3 years Clugston FM have increased their contribution to the TAR shutdown. This year, the site team doubled to 60 staff, completing nearly 11,000 hrs of Industrial Cleaning, Safety Standby, Jet Washing and Jet Vac Tank clearance work.

Client feedback from Senior Management was wholly positive and Steve Lynn (Head of Engineering) commented “Your team and especially your standby men have been very impressive. Professional, knowledgeable, courteous, helpful and happy to stay through a break on occasions when we have needed a little extra time. Excellent!”
